Dr Emily Cheng

Emily emigrated from Vietnam with her family to Australia when she was 9 years old. She grew up in a large family of 6 sisters and 1 brother and spent her formative years in inner west Sydney.

Emily graduated from the Dentistry at Sydney University in 2000. She has lived and worked in private practice in Newcastle since then. Emily joined Wallsend Dental Surgery in January 2016.

Emily enjoys all facet of dentistry with a particular interest in preventative dentistry. Emily takes pride in her work and enjoys building long term relationships with her patients.

Emily is a member of the Australian Dental Association and has a commitment to further dental education and study.

Emily has 2 children Katherine and Mitchell whom she adores. Emily is married to Richard. Emily spends most of her spare time looking after her children and enjoys maintaining her garden.
